But  if the president decides to play "host with the most" and  takes money for food, golfing or anything else this would be illegal and a violation of the United States Constitution. Regardless of if the gatherng is held at a Trump venue, he benefits from free advertising by discussing it in a press conferene at the G7 in from of international media.
